Successful completion of this nationally accredited (generally twelve-month) Traineeship course will have provided the necessary training for an individual to apply to the relevant authorities for an Unrestricted Security Licence. On receipt of this Licence an individual will be authorised to perform selected security work relevant to cabling and connections of installations for housing, commercial and industrial wiring and maintenance. In addition the individual will need to have completed either the Restricted/unrestricted Cabling Licence to have all the necessary licences to legitimately perform the duties to the relevant standards and legislative requirements. Please note that trainees working in the security industry are required to obtain a Security Licence with "Employee Under Supervision" condition from the Office of Consumer and Business Affairs on (08) 8204 9686.
